Took a Fast4ward Edge and fitted an additional wheel and controller. One runs on pedal assist the other on throttle!

Can you send them up to me for my Tonaro? I was out on the C2C (Waskerley Way) yesterday and I hadn't cottoned on to the fact that as it was over 1000ft above sea level the snow and ice wouldn't have thawed on the sheltered track - I definitely slithered about a lot and gave up at Waskerley and came back down ( and that was fun as well!) passing a few hardy souls heading up on their bikes.

Anyway it's been snowing on and off here all day so it'll be much deeper up there now. Looks like some good snow tyres may be a wise purchase.

LOL.......anything for a fellow Tonaro lover.......bet it was beautiful up there though.....
I have done a couple of sections of the C2C with my brother.
I can imagine it certainly WAS 'entertaining' cycling up there today :)
Love cycling in the North east......SO many traffic free cycle paths....bliss !

Our mountains behind us (El Chorro ) have only had a sprinkling of snow on the very top, once in the last 14 years !
But I will try hard not to gloat too much over the weather, seeing as I will be back in the UK at the end of January when I will no doubt have to suffer like the rest of you

Lynda :)

Here's a lovely little guide to the route (and some videos) - it's probably my favourite ride out (but not when it's snowing!).

That looks very neat Mark. The all black colour scheme and spikes have the beginnings of a Mad Max tribute bike :)

I've just been out on my pro-connect newly shod with marathon winter studded tyres. It really is uncanny being able to ride safely over sheet ice. I'm not sure if it's my imagination, but the tyres seem to be quieter over ice than tarmac. The only thing I have to watch out for is when I come to a stop and want to put a foot down, I could do with some spike shoes then.

Thanks Andy! I know what you mean, cars were sliding everywhere round here this morning and I just gracefully flew by. Although when on my feet walking the dog I was almost on my bum more than my feet!

We had a lovely sunny day in Denmark on Saturday. Unfortunately we could not go riding because we had guests over for lunch. Our lunches go on for about 5 hours and so it was dark when everyone left. It seems we have been engaged on pre christmas parties and dinners for weeks. I should be pleased but will be glad when it is all over.

The weather is unseasonal in Denmark at the moment. I can still wander down the garden in t shirt and shorts for 5 minutes. Usually we would be at about -10/ -20 area. I just keep thinking that every day is another day closer to Spring.
