Hi, I have a Raleigh Velo Cite bike which is great for smooth road surfaces but not a great ride on country lanes and cycle paths. I've seen a 2nd hand Kudos King Alivio 24 advertised and was wondering if anyone could advise of their quality? Thanks

My friends got a kudos tornado and he is well happy with it.
We are on them most weekends in the Forest of Dean and it works well.

They're more or less the same sort of bike. What are you hoping to improve? All the parts on an electric bike can be changed to improve whatever characteristic you want. Maybe altering your existing bike might be cheaper and less drastic.

I love the bike I currently have but am looking for a less bumpy ride as most roads I go on aren't smooth like roads in towns.

Could be a change of tyre would help quite a lot. Has the frame got room to fit wider tyres and run them with less pressure?
Along with the seat post Trex recommends you would get a better ride on cycle tracks and country lanes.
You could try a bit less pressure in the tyres you have but don't go mad with road biased tyres or you'll start getting punctures.
