Or how long you have to wait until you get a replacement Motor?

1/ we watched the same video so we all know, no one asked the cost of 2018 batteries

2/ my present Bosch motor has been faultless, lead time on spares is a question asked by someone used to having things fail

3/ reprogramming, if it works how you like it, you buy it, why would you want to buy somthing that needs changing. You don't buy a new car ant start messing around with how it works.

4/ over priced/hyped, you could say the same thing about high end cars or the latest smartphones, you obviously have issues with how other people spend there hard earned cash.

Allow for front chainring.

Multiple front chain ring possible: previously, all Bosch drive units allowed only one chain ring. ALP now features the ability to offer multiple front chain rings, for bikes that need a wider range of gears.
