It's a tough looking thing, not exactly to my taste, but I do like those wheels, no more spoke worries

Hi Guys,

I am in Germany at present, will be riding the 2016 prototypes today, last night we were invited to the world premier of xDuro³ 2016 Haibike Electric Bikes.

Check out the full article of features here.

All the best
Martin
The xDuro FullCarbon Ultimate is touted as the lightest Bosch powered eBike, but nowhere online seems to provide the weight of it!

Not that I'm in the market at that price, but I'd be really interested to know the weight. Can you please advise?

I absolutely love the look of this one and its component list.

17.2KG :)

There are also 2 other carbon models and a couple of carbon hardtails.

Haibike have almost doubled their range for 2016. You see some sneaky pictures in the article here:

Mmm, i find myself a little disappointed in that, i was hoping to see something in the 15s especially as it will undoubtedly be scary expensive. I suppose it goes to show that when you start pushing the technology the gains become much smaller.

Is 15kg practical for a Bosch powered full susser though by the time you take into account motor, battery & suspension?

I thought I read that Martin himself was hoping for a 15 kg
Yeah 15 without the battery ;)

It's an incredible feat, considering the extra weight the eBike system adds.
If you think the motor any battery is approx 7kg which means this full suss bike would be around 9kg excluding!!

Lapierre's top of the range (Carbon) cross country full suss bike weighs 10.6kg & they are considered to be one of the lightest bike manufacturers.

you come off that going 30mph and you will take it home in bits.

and for the price why not make it from
Carbotanium

and the 1980 bmx style wheels on it ;(
