Oh, I understand. You mean that a BMS with CAN communicate.
We can find some from the BMS company, there are many such companies in ShenZhen.
Yesterday, I see an interesting thing in our supplier there. A battery with a BMS, can communicate with your cellphone though blue-tooth.

Yes, CAN bus is OK. Bluetooth is excellent.
Does it make the battery much more expensive? how much more on cost do you think?

I am not sure now, but will continuous attention to this matter.

When your engineers look into this, I'd like to recommend that they implement a 'battery lock' function via the mobile phone as passive alarm for e-bikes.
Ideally, I'd like a built in mobile phone SIM for the battery.
