16g spokes

Needed for my eZee conversion rear wheel, 223mm length.
Can't find a supplier.
A forum search was no good as 16g was rejected as too short a word.

You can use Google to search for a short word, like this:

Inverted commas mean "Must include" that part of the search.

"" in many searches have a curious but useful combination of effects.
It forces must match, so if you have given so many terms nothing matches them all it limits search to ones that at least match the quoted term.
It also forces exact match. That stops attempted spelling correction in the search, and also if you quote several words in a sing pair of quotes forces a search for the words in together in your given order.

14g is commonly used for hub motors only the aero bikes for racing use 16g.
If you really want 16g over14g then sjs cycles sell them but not your length.

Most 16g spokes are 14g at the nipple and threaded end.

The rim and hub motor came fitted with 16g, so I guess I can't go mixing sizes.

14g are stronger for ebikes then the stiffer 12/13g , though thinner 14g have more give and flex in them and less prone to breaking.

I’ve now discovered that I was misinformed by the young sales person in our local cycle shop.
Higher the gauge, thinner the spoke, he got it wrong way around.
I visited another experienced repair shop and found out it’s 13G, which I can buy locally.
