I have just obtained a Cove Hummer 2010 titanium hardtail frame ! Very exciting stuff

It takes a 120mm straight steer front fork.

What would you recommend for light XC use for under 150 quid?

Thanks

Beautiful bikes, those Hummers. Can't beat a good ti hard tail.

You're going to be looking at something older or on clearance to get 26" and straight steerer.

I'd recommend something like the Rockshox Reba. Great fork, and you can find some bargains around on ebay, or in the clearance sections of some of the on-line guys.

Are you going to use it on-road or proper off-road? Why not go with 100 mm.? That'll give you a lot more choice.

It's going to get used for xc on South Downs and on road

120 is the design spec of the frame (though 100 to 140 possible)

My mate has offered me his hardly used 120mm Magura durin marathons (700quis in 2011!) For 100 quid. They have done under 100miles and he no longer has any 26 inch bikes

So I am going with those

Appreciate all the input as ever :)
