Rip kmx Finally sold this machine. It was a lot of fun, got me back into regular cycling, got me into e biking and even in the end financed a 2nd hand ebike for my better half. But it was also a pain in the bum.

Is the 16Ah definitely an upgrade to the 15Ah? The owner of my local bike shop reckons they are standard fit for 10/12Ah. I'd bet you are better informed but just wondered if you had a source for this info?

I have one in my flyer and I love it. There is the occasional issue when shift from 7th to 8th which is well documented but otherwise I think it is an amazing bit of kit. Not sure I really need all the gears on an e bike though. Think I don't use lower than 4th gear.

I think he was telling me both the 18 and 16 were backwardly compatible with the 10am battery.

Allen I couldn't agree more plus I think it always good to have a backup incase one light fails. I actually ride with five lights on my bike. The front and rear the bike came with, a smart super flash and now also the front and rear magic shine. I don't have a front flashing light...
