How do you add an external speed sensor if there is no connector on the controller to get around the freewheeling issue.

If I go for a LCD display I will need to get a new controller as well. Will most 36v, 15A brushless (no hall sensor) controllers work with my bafang 8Fun QSWXK motor or do they need to be programmed/matched up.

Thanks d8veh. The inside torque washers fit well in the drop outs and the outer washers fit inside the dimple ok. I think its getting the balance of making sure it is tight enough to stop the axle spinning but not to tight as to stress the fork or strip the threads.
