You could use one of these cams as a cctv stuck on the inside of your car rear screen with warning sticker. If you have your bikes on a carrier and nip off for a coffee this could offer an extra level of security. Victor.

Like a few folk on here I have also bought some of the cycle stuff from Lidl and time will tell how good it is. I also bought one of the motor cycle locks and decided to trace the real maker. Anyone with this lock will notice two large AA marks, this turns out to be a company in the Netherlands...

My own update on this, have read on a Dutch website that the Diamant 60kg bike carrier offered on e-bay is not as sturdy as the Thule 916. So it looks like I will have to dig deep and stump up the near £300 for the Thule. Victor

Hello, Looking at a bike carrier on the web by the name of Diamant. It's the towball type and can take a load of 60kg. It looks a good bit of kit and priced at £220. Anyone heard of this make, I know Thule do the 916 for electric Bikes but that is over £300. Thanks Victor Gepida 900 & 1000
