You can get Tongxin hubs with fittings for a rollerbrake, and you can get rollerbrake to disc brake adapters, so in theory you should be able to use them together. I can't see why not, although I have yet to see anyone who has done it. I am planning to try it myself later this year...
A couple more questions:
Are the thumb switch and the controller the same ones pictured here:
http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/electric-bicycles/5090-wheel-building-tongxin-brompton-wheel-2.html#post65551
?
Where abouts are you based?
Thanks,

Thanks for your replies. I was thinking of purchasing this as the basis for a diy project (rather than for spares), however I have decided it is not really suitable.
Thanks,

OK, thanks.
Just to be clear, is it this kit:
Nano Brompton electric conversion - Conversion kits - Products
?
Can you tell me exactly what the kit comprises please?
(e.g. twist grip throttle? cut-out brake levers? etc)
Thanks
Hi,
Is there any reason why these hubs would not be suitable for use in a 700c wheel fitted to a fork with 100mm axle spacing?
The only issue I can see would be that the wheel build would have to be dished.
Am I missing something else?
Thanks,
P
