    Hey - curious what you mean by this? I'm looking to upgrade the battery on my Swytch MAX to something else but it seems like you have to at least solder in a new connector to the controller box? Is there another way to do it?

    Sorry, in hindsight was a dumb question as I could've just run a multimeter to the two ports. I'm getting some anxiety about building my own charger using a cut-in-half EC2 connector and buying something like this...

    Did you splice it in to the current wire or replace the wire to the controller board itself? Do you still use the Swytch batteries at all or just the new packs? Thanks!

    Wow @mta102 - trying to do the same thing, can you share any pictures of how it ended up looking? What kind of battery are you considering buying? I just did it on my Brompton and am looking at some bottle batteries that could go in my Brompton bag.

    Hey @Solarbake do you still use the normal Swytch batteries? Did you splice that xt60 connector or just replace it? I also get range anxiety with the MAX on two 6 mile commutes - by the end of the second commute it's cutting in/out constantly.
