Replace headlight cable on a Wisper Tailwind

Opened that bit, didn't like what I seen and bottled it. Went out put it together and I've lost one of the bloody screws! Going to find a away of getting a soldering iron down to the garden and splice the old cable with the new cable and connector unless someone can point me at those...

    hydraulic brakes

If it were me, and it was a couple of years ago, I'd get this. https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-parts/bike-brakes/shimano-br-mt200%2Fbl-mt200-disc-brake-set-794302.html It's pretty much fit and forget.

Replace headlight cable on a Wisper Tailwind

Have you got any pictures of the inside of the bit above? Just for a bit of advanced warning before I open it up.

Replace headlight cable on a Wisper Tailwind

It's this bit in here, there is a gland on the frame where the cable runs in to here somewhere.

Replace headlight cable on a Wisper Tailwind

Yeah, got one. Not sure how difficult it is to open the bit of the downtube the controller is stored in and swap it out without bricking the rest of the bike.

Replace headlight cable on a Wisper Tailwind

It's more the location, the connection box is in the down tube and I worry about getting it all back together again.

Replace headlight cable on a Wisper Tailwind

It's a funny connection, hard plastic and I can't get into it with a soldering iron, I thought about that it would have been much easier! I suppose the easier thing would be to replace the plug but it's not one I've seen before.

Replace headlight cable on a Wisper Tailwind

The head light cable has broke at the light end. on a scale of 1 to new bike day, anyone know how to replace it and how difficult it is? I've got a spare cable but I assume the brains are in the down tube.

    Reliable Voltage Meter ?

No I know, I generally only full charge the battery every few charges though.

    Wisper Wisper Charger Fan

Any one else got a Wisper Tailwind? Did the included charger have a fan? I'm sure mine did but it wasn't spinning last night so I emailed Wisper and the reply this morning said none of their chargers had fans. So am I mis-remembering? I wouldn't mind but it was hot as hell after a two hour charge.

    Reliable Voltage Meter ?

Has anyone come across a meter with a barrel connector? I some times think it would be handy to monitor during charging. Unplug, check voltage, decide whether its charged enough or put it back on.

    Pannier for Wisper Integrated Rack

Cheers I'll have a look. Don't suppose I really need the width of the carradice since I'm not commuting every day any more.

    Pannier for Wisper Integrated Rack

Not sure exactly, they're fairly chunky but the quick clip on the pannier fits but the rack is a bit short and missing a central support for the anti sway clip on the back of the bag. QR would be preferable yeah.

    Pannier for Wisper Integrated Rack

Got my new Wisper Tailwind yesterday all good so far except my fancy Carradice Bike Bureau doesn't fit the fancy integrated rack. Any recommendations for a replacement?

    New Wisper Tailwind coming soon.

@Wisper Bikes what height range is the Tailwind able to accommodate? I'm 188cm but can't see from your site if it'll be too small.

    Decathlon Town Bikes Conversion

I've been using the gTech for a couple of years now as my round town bike*, I bought it as a minimal maintenance commuter then covid stopped by commute a week before it arrived. The motor really does take the sting out the single speed however it is a bit limited. The motor is little weedy for...
