    Rido R2 help...

I guess it's a case of "trial and error" with saddles. That one does look comfy though. I think I'll give it another couple of hundred miles and see if my butt stops hurting like it did with the original after a while.

    Rido R2 help...

After getting 95% comfortable with the standard Wisper saddle on my 905 Sport, I thought I'd treat myself to a Rido R2 in the hope of total comfort. No matter how I sit on it, it's ten times worse than the old one! Is there a specific way you're supposed to sit on these things? I either feel...

Wisper 905 SE in the wet...

I think it was just a "glitch", as after several hours in a nice warm underground car park, everything was back to normal. I gave it a squirt with some WD40 when I got home and sealed the cables into the control box, so fingers crossed! :o

Wisper 905 SE in the wet...

Has anybody else experienced problems with their 905SE in the wet? I'll put my hands up and say that I only usually use it when the sun is shining, but today I wasn't too fussed about a bit of light drizzle. All of a sudden it went on to full throttle and wouldn't come off it. In the end I had...

    Bike cleaning

I use Sdoc 100 (available from Hein Gericke) on my motorbike chain and it's like magic!! It disolves grease really easily and just rinses off clean with practically zero effort. The best thing is, it's safe on pretty much all surfaces and they say it also leaves a "protective" coating on it...

    Wisper 905se sport.......Brakes

I used mine (2009 SE Sport) in the wet the other day and had absolutely no back break at all. It was almost as if someone had removed it. I then realised it may have been down to the "motorcycle" cleaner I'd used the weekend before after a good wet ride, which I think had left a kind of...

    Tyre blow out. Cause?

I had a strange thing happen last night. I checked the pressures in the morning and they were bang on 65 front and rear. I rode for 25 miles and put the bike to bed. About an hour later there was a loud bang and the bike fell over. There was nothing visibly wrong with the tyre, but the actual...

    Clicking "ratchet" sound 905SE

Just as an update, I torqued the crank arm nuts up to 40Nm and 200 miles later, I haven't heard a single click. Problem solved ! :) Now if I can just stop this headset nut from working loose every 100 miles........ Where did I put that threadlock?

    Clicking "ratchet" sound 905SE

Hi Bert. That's the way I'm thinking now, but I don't want to do damage by over tightening them. How much did you torque yours up by?

Hi Mussels. It's the 2009 Sport without the chain guard.

    Clicking "ratchet" sound 905SE

After a month off road due to a buckled back wheel:( . I'm really enjoying being back in the saddle. At the 300 mile service, I mentioned that I thought the crank arms had a little too much play in them and they nipped them up a bit. Now there is no play at all. I've done about another 75...

    New Wisper 905 SE Sport

Hi David. Sorry. I wasn't clear:o . I did mean the standard charger, rather than the new slow charger. Are they available from your website? I couldn't seem to find them. Cheers Chris

    New Wisper 905 SE Sport

That's good to know for the future. :) How much are additional chargers to buy David? I might keep one at work to keep it topped up, if they're not too expensive. Lately I've been riding it without using throttle for pulling away and have squeezed a few more miles out of it. After about...

    New Wisper 905 SE Sport

I'm looking at both the lights on the handlebar when under load and also when pressing the button on top of the battery, it shows one green, then goes to red, under no load. After the first leg of 12 miles, the battery lights show three out of four greens, which would have me thinking I'm not...

    New Wisper 905 SE Sport

Firstly, Hi to everyone on here. :) I'm fairly new to biking (in the commuting sense), having not ridden for a about 7 years. I've had my new Wisper Sport for a couple of weeks now and have so far used it every day to work and back (a 25 mile round trip). So far, I have to say I love it...
