converting to non suspension front forks

I have a Cyclotricity revolver and it has the standard suspension fork. I think it would be better and maybe a bit lighter too with a non suspension fork and would be easier to get on and off for me as it really does make the bike oddly taller. . Does anyone have any suggestions as...

What might this. Is it a switch isue

I have a cyclotricity revolver which is controlled by a simple lcd dashboard on the handlebars. For a long time it has a habit of not always switching on when required or otherwise switching off in mid ride and not being able to switch on again. The batterylevel lcd lights can show 4 bars and...

Issue with my cyclotricity revolver which wont switch on.

Hello An update. I havent yet for a multimeter but I have had my battery tested with a multimeter. It was registering on my charger as fully charged and on the multimeter at Halfords as 41 volts. So i guess I now need the multimeter as suggested to check the continuity of wiring...

Issue with my cyclotricity revolver which wont switch on.

Thank you. I will obtain a meter . That could also be used to check the battery for voltage held but what does worry me a little is the socket on the battery has its positive and negative very very close together and it looks a little precarious and I'm nervous about accidentally...

Issue with my cyclotricity revolver which wont switch on.

Update I have removed the fuse and it appears intact to the naked eye but perhaps that is not the way to check. But having removed and replaced back into position the display still does not switch on . I have not acquired a new fuse as it was too late today to acquire one...

Issue with my cyclotricity revolver which wont switch on.

I have a Cyclotricity Revolver and it wont switch on. Its about 4 to 5 years old and I got it 2nd hand and hacve had it two and half years and use it fairly infrequently. It held charge and I get about 40 to 50 miles out of its 14 KWH battery. So I have charged it until the...

chainset is 46 tooth likely to help compared with a 52

Uodate for this thread. I have now had the 46 tooth fitted and it is a big improvement but any steep gradients will still show the limitations although I think I could 'get by' as it is I am still thinking about a megarange cassette as a further modest cost improvement but...

chainset is 46 tooth likely to help compared with a 52

Thanks for the input. I am in a quandary now. The problem here is that if I have a 48 tooth (or even a 46 tooth ) I will still struggle with some hill starts and hill climb as the rear cassette has a first gear that is pretty feeble. Not a very big cog at all...

chainset is 46 tooth likely to help compared with a 52

Thanks, I guess I will go with the 46 as I dont like the idea of feeling undergeared once at healthy speed on the flat

chainset is 46 tooth likely to help compared with a 52

I have been considering replacing the 52 tooth front chainwheel on my Cyclotricity Revolver with a 46 tooth as a bike shop has commended a 46. The question is though will that effect much of an improvement for setting off from standing and hills, and hill starts ...

FRONT HUB VS REAR HUB POWER and power settings

I have a Cyclotricity Revolver which has a front hub motor which I enjoy and I am curious about a few issues 1. Does a rear hub motor provide more power and produce better results for its power given its position 2. I ride my bike almost always in the lowest of the three...

I have a Cyclotricity Revolver 17 inch frame and I am five feet 6. With a modest raise of the seat i can get the correct leg length but when I come to get off the seat ( for example at a roundabout or junction) waiting for the right to go again I find it a hard job...
