    Battery performance

When you check on the lcd display it tells you how many miles you can get at different settings. In eco plus it says 105 miles, on high I’m sure it says 58 miles I will check. As for 30% over 15 mph no I don’t have a dongle fitted, on the flat I can manage 17mph and I believe the motor cuts off...

    Battery performance

Decided to go for a ride today but I took the battery from my wife’s haibike hard 7 along with me. Good job I did, 29 miles and mine was out of juice, mostly rode on full power but I would say 30% was over 15mph and downhill freewheeling. The bikes are coming up to 2 years old and we only ride...

    Punctures !!!!

I must admit I did ride off road through a part of woods that's recently been trimmed. Never been through that area before ( nor likely too again! ) I went back in that shed today and tyre was flat again, I missed one of the punctures so that's 3 patches!!!! What do people think of the sticky...

    Punctures !!!!

is there such a thing as puncture proof tyres? Just had two thornes in my back tyre, had to use a pair of pilars to get them out!! They are scwallbie tyres (don't think I spelt that correctly) but I can remember a friend fitting some Kevlar strips inside the tyres of his bike some years ago and...

    www.e-bikeshop.co.uk

I would think any sensible company owner would want to sell as many units/products and spare parts as possible. Think of it like this, if that shop was the only shop selling that particular brand of merchandise, they could charge whatever price they wanted. Yes you could choose to buy a...

    www.e-bikeshop.co.uk

Been on this site and I've come to conclusion that it's a rubbish shop!!! Most parts for the Haibike range and not avalible to purchase unless you have purchased a bike from them. Why? Do they want to sell parts? Pathetic

    Cycle Sat nav

think I posted this in the wrong area but Now me and the wife are actually enjoying riding our ebikes, I'm wanting to buy a cycle sat nav. Am I correct in thinking the units will have all the cycle routes stored on them? and all you do is type in a destination and it shows you a map like a car...

Am I correct in thinking the units will have all the cycle routes stored on them? and all you do is type in a destination and it shows you a map like a car sat nav does. I've seen a few on the net...

    Nice ride today

That's the most we've done but to tell you the truth, I could have turned round and done it again!!! It's actually a pleasure to go for a ride.....my last mountain bike did 57 miles in two years !!!!!! I've clocked up over 200 in 3 weeks..

    Nice ride today

From my house Clumber Park is about 4-5 miles to the lake side (the way we go) then the trip round the lake must be 4 miles, we did that 3 times then disappeared into the woods and just followed the tracks. I've actually been to places today I've never been before!! And I've lived here all my...

    Nice ride today

Me and the wife did a 32 mile ride today on our haibikes. I can't praise these bikes enough, well made and great styled bike. Rode round our local park for hours passing other cyclist with ease and sometimes twice on the circuit round the lake. Can't wait for batteries to recharge.

    Bike maintenance stand

I was thinking of one where it lifts the whole bike off the floor, one with the arm on that holds the bike. I've been looking at cycle carriers for tow balls......most of the two bike models only go up to 15kg per bike, the haibike I have is 21kg, or maybe it would be less with the battery...

    Speedbox2 for Yamaha Haibike.

yea I was wondering that, but drawing that much out of the battery that quick cant be good for it???? I don't ride that fast anyway but like I said, it would be nice if you could program or ask if they could program a speedbox to 17mph as that would be quite fast enough on a bicycle. I travel...

    Speedbox2 for Yamaha Haibike.

if I can cruise at 17mph that's fast enough.....the fastest I've had is 28mph and that was pedalling flat out (looked a bit silly lol) but I'm in two minds whether to buy one. I think I will ride it a bit more until I get bored, by then they will have a speedbox3!! where you will be able to...

    Speedbox2 for Yamaha Haibike.

Yea thought about that. The new speedbox2 allows you to turn the restrictions on and off via the light button. I was thinking if I ride with the wife I could turn it off, then if I want some speed, turn it on. Apparently if off as a default so that would be OK. Only had the bike 3 weeks so a lot...

    Speedbox2 for Yamaha Haibike.

As I'm new to ebiking can anyone tell me if fitting a deresrictor like the speedbox2 to my Haibike with the Yamaha system damage the motor or electrics. At a comfortable pedal speed in 10th gear, I'm at 17mph just above the cut off for the motor. To get the motor to assist I have to select 8th...
