When I get fitter I do intend on going back to the traditional method. But I'll certainly keep the e-bike. My partner has an illness similar to MS - so it could come in handy for the "good days" (would be interesting if anyone commented then - we could really make them feel guilty!) ;)

Hi Thanks for your super-fast reply :) I do have a standard phone cable - which I plug into the USB female part of the adaptor I just send in the above link - which I then plug into the Bosch Intuvia - it lights up the screen briefly - but no charging is happening.
