Ebike powered heated winter cycling suit

Mine use a 7.4V 3000mAh lithium power pack with DC connector as standard. I think you're making this over-complicated!

Ebike powered heated winter cycling suit

Probably not AA batteries - they wouldn't have the capacity. The socks will have their own battery packs in pockets.

Ebike powered heated winter cycling suit

I wear USB heated gear but on my body rather than heated insoles or gloves, although I do have these. My heated insoles have their own battery packs slotted into pockets and last about 5-6 hours. The same for clothing and I carry spare power banks - easier than powering by the bike and no...

    oxygen battery repair/ rebuild

Is this the Oxygen 24" step through? If so, I have the same bike and it uses a silverfish battery, readily available from eBay and possibly more economic than a rebuild.

    a question on walk mode

I've used walk assist many times, usually up hills or over rough ground. It's also very useful for pushing a bike up the ridged groove found at the side of some flights of steps where it would be impossible to mount the bike to cycle. Great for steep hill starts too!

    Folding bikes

I have several folding bikes. One lives under the bunks in our caravan, another on my car's passenger seat and a third is in a remote cabin. When it requires maintenance it is carried home by car. I couldn't do any of this with a non-folder. I have 2 full-size bikes used for rides from home...

    How unique are the keys

I've had 4 batteries and none were keyed alike.

Help! Raleigh motus. where to/ how to fix accessories

I have a step-through bike without cross-bar and my bikes also don't have any accessory holes drilled into the frame. I carry a water bottle on the seat downtube, secured via wrapped-around Velcro, lock wrapped around the seatpost or on rear pannier rack and a simple bracket fitting for a front...

How do you deal with a puncture/breakdown when out?

@StuartsProjects I've never heard of a map of public USB points but there won't be any here - we're far too rural and it's about 6 miles to the nearest (small) shop. I carry a manual pump too but normally use the USB pump for speed and ease. If flat, it can be powered via the bike battery...

How do you deal with a puncture/breakdown when out?

I dread punctures or anything going wrong, especially if I'm +30 miles from home. I also live in a rural area miles from any bus routes so getting home would be tricky and even taxis tend to be booked several days or weeks ahead. If I did get completely stuck then I'd have to leave the bike at...

    Carriers and bags

I have a similar pannier set, currently £15.35 on Amazon. The bag is very easy to fit with Velcro straps reaching up the sides rather than having to fiddle with fittings beneath the carrier rack. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BY8MJ2GZ

    ebikerz.shop. LEGIT WEBSITE??

@Saracen No - that's a US store reviewed with two Z in the name!

    ebikerz.shop. LEGIT WEBSITE??

The above shop is Ebikerz with just one Z, so this isn't even their review!

    ebikerz.shop. LEGIT WEBSITE??

Operating from a private home in Chorley (4 Grove Cres, Adlington, Chorley PR6 9RJ), possibly drop-shipping orders. I would have concerns re honouring any warranty along with longevity of the company. It has only been running for a month, no company registration and domain registered...

    Mirrors...or Not ?

Another vote from me for the Briskmore range. I've been offered review samples of most from the range and find them excellent on our touring and folding bikes.

    Cheap Electric Bike

I know someone who ordered one of these, not believing for a second he would receive it and did so for his own amusement. Instead of the promised bike, he received a pair of cheap, Chinese broken sunglasses instead. He paid via PayPal and despite a lengthy dispute, failed to receive a refund...

    Step through bike uphill

I've never heard of any of this. All of my bikes are step through including folders and an Oxygen E-Mate which has covered about 10k miles in all weather, on roads and rougher paths and we live on the hilly Welsh borders, on the top of a 2 mile hill. I've never had any bike wobble, flex or...

    Folding electric bike

I find it very comfortable and have a dodgy back myself from an older injury. I replaced the saddle with a wider, sprung saddle and find it very comfortable on 40mile rides. The handlebar height is adjustable too so you can vary your sitting position from leaning forwards to nearly-upright to...

    Folding electric bike

I emailed at the time and was advised by AH that the long seat post option gave an overall height of 36.5" to the top of the saddle which would be too short - I need 38.5-39" to accommodate ankle flexing. We also talked about adding a chunkier saddle with thick padding and a gel cover over the...

    Folding electric bike

I have a folding Basis Finch from eBikes Direct and this uses a 'universal' battery which can be bought relatively cheaply from eBay and shared with my bigger eBike. It offers good performance, accommodates a +34" inside leg (which the Rambletta disappointingly doesn't) and cost about £749 at...
