I've made a start on the "pimping" and have put a pic in the members gallery, I'm sorry but I don't know how to put a link to the photo but it's in there if anyone wants a look. It's not finished yet i'm undecided what else to put on it.

    Riding on pavements !!

I went out on a little (5mile) ride earlier and couldn't believe the number of people riding on the pavement, I must have seen 10 people, one party was a woman with two small children on there own bikes so I can understand that, but the others were adults !! seems they must assume every pavement...

    newbie with same old question

Hi Ray, It may be worth asking if your chosen supplier has any ex display bikes available, I went down to Cambridge a month ago to look at the woosh bikes, i'd more or less decided I wanted a woosh sirocco and found they had one that had been used by a magazine for a review, apart from a bit of...

Woosh Santana CDL first impressions, thoughts and some tech queries.

Pleased your enjoying your new bike. Regarding the motor switching on and off, I think you have the "king meter" fitted to your bike you should be able to go into settings and turn off the 15 mph restriction. Dont' think it's legal but as long as you don't go passed a police car at 30 mph !!!

    Bike on Ebay advice please

I think that's the best way to go. I considered buying a used bike and had a go on a couple around the £350 mark, to be fair they were ok but for another £200 I got a new woosh sirocco (the hub drive as it's not hilly around here) I love it and iv'e got the peace of mind of knowing the battery...

    Bike on Ebay advice please

Nothing wrong with woosh, great value for money plus you get a years warranty. But if you like the Raleigh I would email the seller and offer £800 buy it now before it gets a bid on it, you might get lucky or he may come back with a counter offer.

    ~Is 15 MPH enough? Discuss

I think 15mph is probably enough given the state of the roads!! It's the overall journey time that matters, in busy traffic it's normally quicker for short commutes to take the bike. Regarding the idiot on youtube, he should be banned from riding a bike, I don't really care if he kills himself...

    first electric bike

I got my first e bike a couple of weeks ago, it's a woosh sirocco hub drive, I did consider the cd but its not very hilly around here (Lincoln) Anyway up to now i'm well impressed with the bike, it's obviously not the same quality as a £1000 bike but it does what it's supposed to and most of the...

    £94million!!

I'm guessing it will cost around 90 million in consultancy fees to decide how to spend the remaining 4 million in the most ineffective way !!

    Pimp my bike !!

It's on the to do list, just need to get some chrome vinyl, though I may put one either side of the crossbar. I'll try and post pics when it's "pimped" Must say i'm well impressed with the bike, I had a quick 6 mile spin on it earlier and got home without panting, normally I get out of breath...

Iv'e just been down to Cambridge and picked up a Woosh Sirocco. they had one that had been used by a magazine for review purposes, apart from a bit of dirt on the tyres it's like new and I got a bit of discount so i'm well happy. Hello from Lincoln

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and will soon be new to e-bikes, I'm just in the process of choosing a bike, don't want to spend too much, I had a go on a Batterybike Granite and was impressed, don't really want to spend £900 though and am thinking maybe a woosh sirocco @ £585 seems good value...
