    replace lcd display

Hi there. Thanks for all the help. As I'm sure you all figured I'm very new to all this. Anyway, the new LCD display arrived, and it all seems to work OK. I've not been on the road yet though. But what is troubling me is that according to the manual I should have an option to set the voltage -...

    replace lcd display

Ah Thanks, and presumably brakes and pedal sensor and throttle are pretty general too - providing the plugs fit, but maybe the plugs can be changed as long as the wiring matches up?

    replace lcd display

If I might ask another question. With the the differing displays - is it a question of wiring in the right order for the controller or profounder differences. Even better, if someone could point me to some detailed info about all this. Thanks again. JH.

    replace lcd display

Thanks so much for your help, here is a picture of the controller showing the label. I've attached the jpg file. I hope that's the right way to do it. Thanks again. I'm guessing that it is Lishui brand.

    replace lcd display

Hi, to cut a very long story short, I have lost my lcd display. I bought a yose power 36v 250 20 inch front wheel kit about a year ago and need a replacement display. I don't know the exact details of it but guess it must have been appropriate for the above specs. How standard are they, can I...

    mix and match

Thanks, where I was coming from was a friend of mine who recently brought a volt metro, I believe, said it was fitted with the sign wave controller that they sell separately. He reckoned, having tried an earlier and cheaper model, the the sign wave controller was much smoother, particlarly form...

    mix and match

I have had a cursory look at the BMSBattery site and it appears that it could be cost effective to by a kit, and a separate controller to use instead of the controller that would be included in the kit. Would that work, are the bits mix and match like that? Thanks for any input.

    Bicycles4u

I understand that bicycles4u have recently brought out a 20 and 26 inch electric bike. Does anyone know anything about these. Does anyone know anyone who had bought one. ON the site they look good, and are a very good price. Thanks all.

izip ezgo for £150 start on ebay

Hi there I have noticed in Ebay a 2008 ezgo ebike, the seller says that the brakes don't cut out the motor anymore as the leads have come out of the brake levers, but otherwise ok, and with a new battery. Would this be an easy job to fix, could I likely use generic ebrake levers, if I couldn't...

    Hello there

Hi again, well - another day, I had a looks at Sheldon's page, complicated stuff - this rim sizes thing. I do notice that I have a good bit of room to manauver with my brake blocks both larger and smaller than my existing wheel. My own measurments are very inconclusive as they seem not near 305...

    Hello there

Thanks so much for your patience, so sorry, I utterly got hold of the wrong end of the stick, I can't quite explain why, but how I could turn in my mind 3-- mm into 3.-- cm - doh! I think I am finally getting the picture now. Thanks for the info about the forks, yes indeed a big hub motor will...

    Hello there

Thanks, the q85 looks good. I will leave the tandem for later, build a bit of skill and confidence with the Dahon. It is a lovely old Dahon, a joy to ride, I have put on Brompton m type handlbars which give an extra few inches in height overall which is fantastic. Another question, which might...

    Hello there

Total apologies, my measurements were all to pot. on the dahon, front and back are more like 3.3 -3.4 cm. As you can tell I'm new at this. I think I'm reasonably handy, but soldering - I have never done that, though I understand the rudiments of lekky. Still getting used to thes calipers, not...

    Hello there

Thanks again so much, I will study your suggestions in a moment, but just to clarify, I also have a sturmey archer 3 speed on the dahon as well as the tandem, so I guess you would suggest the front wheel option there too? I am assuming that the front is the same as the back, but I can go measure...

    Hello there

Thanks so much for the info. Yes indeed, on my old Dahon the back rim is 304 according to my vernier caliper - close enough - give or take. So will the greenbike kit 16" wheel be ok? Would the 20" greenbike kit do for the tandem? I notice that you only mentioned the rear wheel option, wouldn't...
