    Bosch power tube 500

Ok thanks, so is it possible that the puriton display can be slightly out of sync with battery or is it more accurate than the battery display?

    Bosch power tube 500

First charge of the battery, puriton display still had one bar flashing so nearly charged. Took battery out to charge away from bike, I press the power button on battery all 5 bars go green then switch off. Is this telling me the battery is fully charged or should the lights remain on even if...

    2019 bikes

It was a toss up between giant dirt e 2 from local dealer with 20% off or a cube hybrid reaction sl 500 with 250 off with trade in, went with latter as I had a bike which was on its way to tip, plus did not find local dealer particularly helpful got the impression he would have sold me anything...

Commuting on roads on FS and HT

Fair enough this is a reflection of a lot of people on this forum and staff in bikes shops.

For me bob was not an issue as you say it can be locked out, however, given I would mainly be commuting seems the maintence cost of a full sus was not worth it.

The "bob" has an effect on the battery so whilst not an issue with effect it will affect range if your doing 18 miles each way this is something to consider as I would not want to charge a battery more than once a day when commuting 5 days a week.

    Trek powerfly 5 FS

Thanks for heads up but have decided given the amount of commuting vs maintence HT will be best.

    Trek powerfly 5 FS

Cheers Dave, I spoke with a manager of an Evans store about Cube hybrids and had always discounted them because of the word hybrid, however, he said that cube call all their ebikes hybrids. He also pointed me in the direction of the power fly 5 and said the 7 is not that my h better spec wise...

I was thinking about fs, but bike was mainly commuting and off road second use. The maintenance of fs put me off.

Scott e 720. However, the place I was going to get bike from doesn't do interest free on sale bikes :(. So might have to try out the giant dirt e instead else where. Might do the Rutland demo.

Commuting on roads on FS and HT

It's not gonna happen Yes I did have to pay £50 for the demo, think my mind is made up. Not gonna buy from someone "local" with an attitude of spend a lot of money on a bike and hope it works out.

Ideally but they have to have the goods. I have been told by my local dealer I have to pay deposit for it to be ordered in and there is no refund if the bike doesn't suit me.

Thanks, think I will probably go for it over the giant dirt e +1 pro, seems slightly better spec, my only concern is I can get the giant locally and the Scott is 200 miles away, just worried about any problems whilst under warranty.
