Many thanks for your prompt reply. The current batteries are 36v. Am I right in thinking that I would need to replace like-for-like voltage? Would I also need to change the charger? Sorry; I'm not that competent with electrics!

I've had two Giant Suedes for several years now but the range has dropped down to 2 miles on each. Is there any new battery system that is compatible and where can I pruchase? I was hoping the new Gtech battery would be compatible but I'm told it isn't. Any advice very much appreciated.
