    Woosh Karoo v Eco Expedition

Seems like I've narrowed down my preferences to the following two bikes: Karoo And: eco expedition Reasons being, I'm an infrequent rider, but would like to get back into riding, possibly to commute to work also. Whilst I do a physical job, I wouldn't say I'm fit, though I'm not really over...

I appreciate your candid thoughts on the bike, and for sure I'd need to try it to see if it suits me, thanks though. And some awesome shots you took, I'm often over those parts, very beautiful part of our country!

So after assist ends does the pedal suddenly feel heavier, I'm interested to learn how the transition is. Also if you don't mind me asking how tall are you, I'm about 5' 11", I'm hoping it will feel roomy, my old mtb feels a tad cramped. I think you're right, best to try and have a go on it.

I hadn't thought about that issue, is there any other way other than the controller decreasing the assistance as you near the threshold speed?

Did you alert the seller? It doesn't sound a serious issue if it was corrected in seconds, but frustrated none the less. What do you feel about it now it's storted?

I'll have a look and see what's out there, I'm pretty hands on, so don't mind maintenance and part replacement

This is an interesting thread, as a new member and having never owned an e bike, I am in a similar situation of, seeing the price point as quite high, and not wanting to invest too much until I know how i'd get on commuting on one. I'd also looked at the CTW scheme, the only thing I don't like...

Thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to recall them to mind as I consider my options. I've also read through all the guides here too. I tend to do a fair bit of research before jumping in, so watch this space

Hi, Just joined and thought I'd start my first post here! Currently looking at the ride to work scheme and been researching e bikes. It's fairly flat where I commute so that'll probably help. I've had bikes all through my life, still got a Raleigh Chopper! Hadn't considered an e bike until...
