    Brexit, for once some facts.

If cramps do not follow exercise and prevalent for no apparent reason one of first avenues doctors would investigate is anxiety. Psychosomatic cramp, seizures etc are actually very common. The suggestion procured by a regime you see as reliable could easily explain the success of dioralyte...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

??? Cramp is caused by build up of Lactic acid (produced when muscles work anaerobically, and blood flow is insufficient to remove it) or by a deficit of potassium and or magnesium. I, d guess both are in dioralyte so that could explain its help. To be honest tho Guerney can't see the salt in...

Lot of years ago a Chinese chap bought a Ford Capri off me. He coped perfectly with Ford but just couldn't manage Capri. Seemed an odd purchase to buy a car that made folk smile every time he said what car he drove. Paid cash and disappeared up road, never heard from him again. Perfect customer.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You are obviously correct but would add they seem quite short of relatively low mileage decent cars generally. I, ve had at least 10 reminders offering gradually more for my 2 litre diesel . Its actually gone up in value over last 6 months, not much but taking into account the higher mileage...

Surely you mean electile dysfunction.. Sums our government system up?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The second hand ICE market is going to be chaotic. Think prices for a while will be inflated but could then plummet. (suspect it depends on infrastructure for IC,as EVs and charging points rise our current fuel stations must at some point suffer.)

I thought you, d like the article. Not sure if you are talking about Jaguar/Land Rover but they aren't building ICE after 2025.

I, ll let New York Times answer https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/24/technology/joseph-mercola-coronavirus-misinformation-online.html He is a qualified Osteopath, neither a medical doctor or physician. My qualifications allow me to say I, m a doctor.. Besides its not his qualifications(actually...

https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/covid-19-health-pseudoscience/upside-down-doctor Mercola is a quack, making a fortune out of the gullible. GI Why do you insist on pushing his vitriol. He isn't a doctor, has no qualifications and no medical background. He, s a food suplement salesman and about...

    Transport plan? What transport plan?

Great windsurfing in Curaçao (all Dutch Antilles are). Be careful on beaches tho. I stood on a Stone fish in Aruba, most painful thing I, ve ever done. Was worrying for a while. (it can cause heart attack). If it weren't for gkids I, d be in ABC or BVI. Fantastic all of them. Good luck.

Try getting into, probably more importantly out of, Hull.. https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/science-technology/1715275/New-Mercedes-GLC-300e-hybrid-electric-car-UK I,d bet truth lies somewhere between Expess's survey and Fleccs assessment? But where between? PS. Not suggesting Hybrid is...

    Transport plan? What transport plan?

Fair point. And, no, I, m not suggesting EVs don't suit some and I, m not in slightest against their growth. What I am saying is 3 things. Our generating capacity needs to grow alongside EV take up. Night time spare capacity I, m afraid simply does not cover any type of significant increase in...

    Transport plan? What transport plan?

You are starting to sound like you are on a crusade Flecc. I think you need to do some maths about night time spare capicity against let's say 15 million EVs taking 30kwh every night and half country on electric heating. Not to mention the fact that night time charging doesn't get everybody...

    Transport plan? What transport plan?

Flecc, your solution is accept EVs but stay at home. Not a real solution. You keep quoting averages. As tho that means most driving can find an EV solution. If you knew more about the maths behind averages you, d realise making a solution to fit average won't work for the majority. The average...

    Transport plan? What transport plan?

It's naive to the extreme to think that somehow we can ditch all our gas boilers, ICE engines, (including stuff never mentioned like diesel electric trains, lawn mowers, chain saws, etc etc) and our current generating system will cope. It's struggling now. 30 million plus cars on UK roads...

    Transport plan? What transport plan?

Don't think it's as simple as that Flecc. Take my regular 75 mile trip to coast. 150 miles return.. Takes 90 mins each way. Won't need charging on way but certainly would on way home to ensure getting home. So that means adding another 30 mins to a 90 mins journey. (half hour charging near us is...

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2022/12/29/energy-crisis-risks-dooming-electric-car/ Some rather disturbing but predictable points. (our energy (electricity) production requiring to be quadrupled to fully go over to EV and electrical heating. Even if an exaggeration and it only needs...
