    Brexit, for once some facts.

Johnson is still talking about leaving the EU at the end of October with or without a deal. How can he do this when it is now a legal requirement to have a deal in place before leaving. Does the law passed a few days ago mean nothing?

Aldi are set to open over 100 new stores in the next two years. Meanwhile, Waitrose are closing stores. Aldi are clearly betting on a hard Brexit, after which most people will be eating Aldi food because that will be the best they can affordable.

Yes it does. As I’ve said before, if you don’t fear no deal, why should the EU?

I did buy it and I was fooled, but I’ve seen through it. It wasn’t the first time I’ve been fooled and it won’t be the last. The key is to identify when it’s happening, something you either can’t do or are to stupidly proud to admit. You seem to be one of those people who pile more stupid on top...

I don’t remember Gove, Johnson or Farage saying that it will be a case of survival and shortages in the run up to the referendum. Brexit was supposed to be all sunshine, easiest deals ever struck with the EU and all of us being better off. Remember? How did it turn from the promised sunny...

Are you OK? Do you need taking somewhere to be looked at?

75 is a generous estimate when government revenue dries up post Brexit. Pushing internal money around skimming of a percentage only lasts for so long, at some point we need to start making and selling things, but making and selling is something we can’t do anymore.

Huge disruption in Paris as workers protest over pension reforms which will mean they can’t retire until they are 63. They certainly know how to protest over there. If our government imposed a retirement age of 63, I wonder how much protest that would bring:-)

    Brexit, for once some facts.

So you are saying that we need to present a very real threat that we will leave the EU without a deal in the hope that will scare them into offering a better deal than May’s deal? Ok, so you are clearly not afraid to leave the EU without a deal. So why should the EU be afraid of no deal if you...

Fair point, which is unsurprising because we tend to agree on quite a few things. I was an idiot for casting a vote for Brexit. I began to have doubts and those doubts are starting to solidify into reality. The government report, which they wanted to hide from you, is a good indication. I’m...

Excuse me, “what we voted for” ???? Did we vote for a shortage of medicine s? Did we vice for shortages of certain fresh food products? Did we vote for an increase in food Prices? Did you vote for an increase in fuel duty? Did we vote to have goods stuck for 3 days + at ports? Did we vote...

I wonder what the outcome of the referendum would have been if the Leave side had campaigned on the basis of their own beliefs contained within the Yellowhammer document, and not on the lies? Do we need another chance to reconsider Brexit now that the truth has been revealed? Of course we do.

If Corbyn has agreed to an election , Johnson would have shut down parliament and moved the GE date back in an instant. Corbyn has seen Johnson for the filthy lying scum-bag that he is and has acted to thwart his deceit. It’s nothing to do with cowardice. It’s the newspapers which have...

I can see us heading for the deal which the EU dictated to May and told her, it’s that or nothing. But this time it will be rolled in glitter, presented as a hard won Boris victory. The Brexiters will swallow that, and it will pacify them.
