No throttle Dave on the crank drive, but loads of hill climbing grunt on mine .. and that's with the 60nm torque. The CX has 75nm!! So..no sitting back with a throttle..but a beautifully balanced bike that feels like a proper bike if you know what I mean...and it takes the p*ss out of those...

If you feel you can afford £56 for a sold secure gold rated lock...you wear these as a belt which surprisingly, at 2.5 kilos, you hardly feel as a belt. I've got one and use it a fair bit if i'm leaving the bike for a while. It's only 85cm long though so you need to consider that...

I find the whole chain cleaning / lubing thing just down to common sense really. How mucky it gets will be down to how sticky it is with lube and what conditions you ride in as to how much rubbish it collects and converts to a grinding paste. I will clean mine off with de-greaser, generously...

I certainly had issues (at 15 stone at the time!) with a factory supplied rear wheel with laced in motor. All most satisfactorily resolved eventually with a professional wheel rebuild by a top notch old school guy in the UK.
