    Just an update! I ordered the spokes. I ordered a cheap caliper of ebay which gives a reading of 2.2mm on the old spokes and 2.3mm on the new spokes. However i also have a problem where the new nipples will not fit in the wheel. The new nipples are bigger in diameter than the old nipples. BTW...

    SWX02 to Q128h

    How much efficiency is lost by going with 36v instead? I wont be using this new motor for long distances at all. A bit confused now because i have read in many different forums threads a 36v q128 is a good idea at 48v. Thanks

    Much appreciated Nealh. Only reason I was considering the 36v motor was of a few threads i read. 36v hub powered by 48v would be 33% faster overall. Torque and speed. For off road use a bit higher top speed would be good. My current swxo2 tops out at 18mph. The steepest hill i have around...

    Hi Thanks for the advice. I will look into your suggestions. I did think about getting a wheel already built but it don't really matter apart from i know i can get a half decent rim laced to the motor. Either way is ok with me. I have a 8 speed cassette.
