    Where to buy 48v battery

There are many red flags and alarm bells ringing. Small company, probably only two guys, so they don't have benefit of a scale behind them. On the market for a short time - they don't have reputation to defend yet. No address on their web page, business registered in residential area etc. Your...

    Where to buy 48v battery

Please forgive me, but I am finding it very confusing. You sell a battery with a charger... which is not covered by warranty? Battery? Charger? Or both?

    Where to buy 48v battery

https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?batteries Reputable source, but quite expensive and no warranty. {Edit: Warranty has been clarified by Woosh in few posts below: https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/where-to-buy-48v-battery.46845/post-706715} I also keep looking at PSW, but unfortunately they...

Another one needing help choosing - possibly eStarli e20.8 Play

Woosh and Wisper are companies with good reputation and well established in our community. Why folders? I tell you what... if you keep your word and drop 25kg, doesn't matter how much you spend and what you buy. It will be worth it.

Nah... not worth it. If you keep commuting to train station and keep leaving bike there, soon enough you will have only spare battery left.

    E-bike For a Child

That is encouraging... I think it is you who should write a tutorial. 2kg motor sounds good. Hub also would be less visible.

    E-bike For a Child

Yes. For child 100W should be more than enough. My wife might want us to wait till they are 14, but truth is, they need assistance now.

    E-bike For a Child

I was thinking the same, but kids grow out of bikes so fast. One would need to learn how to lace wheel. TSDZ2B? It is only 3.6kg, but torque sensor might be problematic for child. Better would be cadence sensor.

I didn't say anything about motorbike. Legal age in UK is 14. You are very fast to offend people.

    Youtube Misinformation

He did a little bit of digging... I think Internet is full of misinformation including gov.co.uk pages. Edit: It is not that bad actually. Yes, there are some inaccuracies, but general message is right.

    E-bike For a Child

It is not as simple black and white picture. Added mass would increase risk of injury in case of a fall and there would be also a risk of child loosing control, but I think potential benefits far outweigh risk. I am really tempted to make such conversion just to see how would that work...

    E-bike For a Child

I guess for children low power assistance and low speed would be sufficient. Just enough to help them with hills.
