    Someone rode my Delite but could not stop. He ended up in the bush and the Mirrycle was deep in the ground and had become detached form the bike. Took a while digging to find it but when cleaned up went back together again and is as good as new. Try that with the inferior ones.

    It takes me back to infant school when we used the cardboard top off the one third milk bottles to make pom-poms. Before foil became the norm, the cardboard had the centre so it could be popped to allow a straw to be inserted. Little fingers could easily wrap the wool around through the centre...

    It depends on which hub gear you go for, the Rohloff has a wider range than most derailuer gears.
