My mate bought a voodoo bizango this evening, on his way to mine the chain snapped! On inspection the chain is very thin metal, also it looked to be bending towards the rear wheel. Bought from Halfords, images attached.

When learning to ride a motorcycle we were told the 70 30 rule, 70% on the front brake 30% on the rear.

would it be worth stripping it of electrical components, including hub wheel, selling the parts off to pay for new wheel and rebuilding the bike? Perhaps you could sell that too with the cash raised going towards a new bike!

would fitting a front derailleur and cog not have a similar effect?

on the subject of cycle to work scheme, we were invited to address one of the directors of our company with any queries/suggestions re: covid19 in relation to us returning to work. I suggested that the company join the scheme as public transport will be less inviting for the foreseeable future...

when I was starting to get uncomfortable on my old Giant, a friend fitted bars from a Ducati Monster motorbike... They were just the right night for "sit up" comfort and took the strain out of my back! eBay might have some seconds hand... Or these ones from amazon UPANBIKE Urban Road Bike...
