Thanks, I'll get in touch with them.

    16g spokes

The rim and hub motor came fitted with 16g, so I guess I can't go mixing sizes.

    16g spokes

Thanks for the tip folks, it worked but no suitable results.

    16g spokes

Needed for my eZee conversion rear wheel, 223mm length. Can't find a supplier. A forum search was no good as 16g was rejected as too short a word.

    Weinmann XTB26 rim

My ezee rear conversion came with the above rim. It now has a flat spot so I'm looking to replace it but can't find any. Does anyone know of a suitable substitute? Thanks

    Wooo, done me conversion.

Dunno if this may be of use but I found that a round Surform was really handy opening the inner diameter of the magnet disc so it would fit the crank.

    Wooo, done me conversion.

Great stuff, rear wheel eZee conversion on Ridgeback Supernova. Cycling is now fun again!

Because of the carbon forks, decided to go with eZee rear drive.

With the ezee, far better assist selection, rather than just low/mid/high. Seemed like more torque, that it could tackle anything, a pleasure to ride.

Many thanks to falmouthtony for paying a visit, and letting me have a go. Certainly convinced me that in our neck of the woods more than the usual supplied 7 gears are needed. Liked the eZee conversion very much.

Ha, we can't be that far apart, my first incline would be station road, then up or around old carnon hill. It's a small world.

    Hi from Cornwall

Mike, agree with the state of things in our neck of the woods in the SW. I have to admit that on my first visit to a dealer I thought that I'd do this, this, and this to get what I want. But as a newbie that could be a costly venture, hmmmm will sleep on this.

    Hi from Cornwall

Ha trex, don't talk to me about bells. Dealer said "it comes with a bell etc", what a waste of time. When I used to cycle towpaths in the Midlands I got a marine air horn powered by a small compressed air cylinder, sounded like an artic coming at you and made people take notice, intend to do the...

    Hi from Cornwall

Jackhandy, agreed. High torque??? I dunno, the girl at the dealer did not seem to have great technical knowledge. As you say fair play to them for having a go. trex, totally agree with your comments. Looking forward to going elsewhere and trying other models. I just created a poll to see how...

Did you customise your first purchase?

Just curious how many of you accept what dealers offer, or want to personalise your purchase.

    Hi from Cornwall

Trex, I may well do that. What would you say are the shortcomings of these bikes?

    Hi from Cornwall

As a newbie here and not that au fait with the lingo, is there a term to use when referring to a non electric bike?

Jonah, thanks for that, but a bit of a trek, may pay a visit when my partner fancies another visit to Rosemoor as she loves her garden.
