    Bosch Motor Types

Not actualy stupid, more that I was deliberately being pedantic. " suddenly WE want low power" I wouldn't be as presumptuous as to tell others what they want. No I just don't see how the quest for higher power fits in with the spirit of the electrically assisted pedal cycle ( pedelec )

    Bosch Motor Types

After the performance line Bosch made the CX motor, smaller, lighter and more powerful, predominantly for proper MTB's as opposed to there other motors designed for leisure, commuter and adventure bikes. To my knowllage There's been very little trouble reported with the performance line but the...

Do you let friends have a go?

Right time and place then YES have a go by all means. Anyone I already knew or I may meet in my "let's ride" group would be welcome but a random stranger who may not bring it back !!!

any impressions on the Carrera Crossfuse (or the Bosch Active Line Plus)?

Assuming you tried all the different power levels, perhaps you were expecting too much. A lot of people look a our choice of transport with preconceptions, expecting electric motorbikes only to be disappointed when they need to pedel.

    Endurance Grips

I covered at least 1,000 miles with those in the OP, for only a couple of quid from China I thought I'd have a go. When out on long rides and your hands get uncomfortable the bar ends give more hand position options for a bit of relief. The rubber part is harder than you'd like so decent...

    Getting back in the saddle

There lots of reasons not to stop, it's quicker to lose muscle tone than it is to get it back after a long break, the same goes for the butt to Saddle interface. I also find that my arthritis thrives on inactiverty, the less I do, the more it hurts ;)

    The new best headlight

I'm a fan of frame bags, they keep my light battery close to where the light is mounted and I can put all that stuff in there that would have been in my pockets, phone, money, keys, emergency fruit pastels ;) (other sources of quick energy are available) and a small coffee stop lock.
