    Revo and brompton

Thank you Nealh, very helpful and noted the controller is in the base, does make any battery mods a bit irreversible

Great! Does the forum think the adaptor might be key too? Sorry if a luddite question but I'm thinking some cables do data and charge and some just charge

    Revo and brompton

Does anyone know if you can fit a revo motor to a Brompton? It's a friction drive Yep I know all the disadvantages but it is very small, lightweight and very cheap indeed (offered to me at 70 Inc charger and battery!) But forget the battery, I'd biuld my own very small one as it needs to do 5...

    Ebco m45 help please

I owe everyone a long overdue answer and end result. Spoiler - it's isn't a happy ending I overestimated my soldering skills and completely screwed the pooch. I managed to melt the tiny resistor wires totally from the motor to the pcb. It did change the error code but that's it. Owner gave...

    Ebco m45 help please

So the hibernation mode achieved the same thing. Clears the fault for a minute only. I can't get into the pack itself as although it has screws it is also heat bonded or glued. I will have a crack at getting into the motor itself tomorrow, just to see if there is an obviously destroyed motor...

    Ebco m45 help please

So I visited my local Halfords and explained my issue to a young girl of about 20 behind the bike counter. The look I got was priceless. I suspect I may as well have been speaking Greek. However, to her credit she fetched a old beardy guy from out back. He certainly knew his ebike onions but...

    Ebco m45 help please

Hi folks, I had a final go last night..... Really thought I'd cracked it! By disconnecting the, I presume, can bus connector between the battery cradle and the controller I can make the error disappear. For about one minute before it reassert itself. Thing that confuses me is that the...

I've tried Halfords who didn't want to know. Also two other local dealers who say they no longer are dealers and never had the diagnostic software That leaves trans x who just emailed me back saying they can't help me as an end user - I must try the dealer!! OK, going to have one last take...
