    Unfortunately it looks like I have the b version. Oh well I just came across an e-bike for $200 if it's in good condition it just needs a battery which I happen to have so sell that one and fix up what I'm currently working on.

    My technical experience is pretty solid. Im used to controllers that have a range of input options hence getting caught off guard by this issue. (I scratch built a cnc router including open source programing ) But i do agree changing the battery seems like the best option as i dont want to go...

    All in all it seems like a decent bit of kit. They do have a 48v option with this set up hence my confusion.

    Nothing for it but to get a different battery? Had hoped there was some slick rewiring or programing i could do.

    When i turn the system on i get error code 7 'over voltage protection'. I don't see how to change the voltage settings in the software on the controller or the computer. So the question is how do i rectify my mistake. Keeping in mind I bought direct from china.
