Why the Bafang mid drive has rekindled my passion for pedelecs

I recently ( about 3 days ago) watched a video on You Tube where a guy fitted a Bafang mid drive kit. Was quite detailed and did not look too complicated. But then I suppose they never do if you know what you are doing. The most complicated bit to me was removing crank to fit motor. However it...

have a Freego eagle about 4 yrs old. Just started using again. Bike has not done a great amount of mileage and I am thinking of investing a little to bring it up to date. So looking at better brakes, maybe upgrade to marathon plus tyres and also wondered if there is a better display unit I...

    Freego eagle brakes

Hi, I am finding that the back wheel is catching on the brakes on my Freego Eagle. They are Tektro Novella and to be honest I am not thrilled with them. They seem to need a lot of adjustment. I have adjusted them in the past but cannot remember how, so if someone would point me in the right...

    battery condition

hi all, been away for awhile for various reasons and just come back to using my bike. I have a Freego Eagle with the bigger battery. Not really used it for the last 2 years, but it has been kept charged and in a dry garage. just wondering if it is likely that the battery may have deteriorated...

Continental Eco Contact, 42-622 Reflex, SV Ventil???

Wissy, think the ones you are referring to are Schwalbe Marathon Plus, which are puncture resistant . Very highly rated by members on here, but there are alternatives. Try searching the forum for Puncture resistant tyres. May just turn up what you need regards

    How do you carry yours.

I use a Bosal carrier. very well made and carries 2 bikes up to 60kg total. Flips back for access to boot and folds down and goes into supplied bag

    Car carriers

I had a Hillman Imp It was brilliant in the bad winter, (think it was 1978) at driving through the snow, but the steering was absolutely useless unless there was some heavy weight in the front. In icy conditions it would carry on in a straight line when the wheel was turned. Also because the...

    Mud flaps

recently fitted a pair of SKS full length mudguards to my Freego Eagle. Fed up of getting wet feet and badger stripe up back. They did not come with flaps so are only partially successful. So am thinking of fitting some. however they are not that easy to find so was wondering if anyone has ideas...
