thanks - I changed the keep current to 80% but the issue of the watts dropping at full throttle (PAS9) remained. Also the watts never showed more than about 1200w (same as when the BBSo2 was connected) Do you think the battery is the culprit? I am baffled

so I tried the 950c on the BBSO2 and it errors the same so now thinking the display must have a fault. starting to hate ebike building!

I'm going to contact the people I got the HD off and see what they say

I have tested again and the problem remains - I noticed that the freshly charged 52v battery drops from 58v to 50.4v under full throttle - could this be the issue?

yeah the throttle works for sure. it's set to the PA level (on my bbs02 it was set to 9 all the time) on PAS level 9 when I use the throttle the bike goes fast but the watts level on the display suddenly goes from showing about 1200w to like 50w or something.

Thanks. I think I might keep it on the 22amps it came with from Eclipse then. It’s warm but mildly after my usual run so I think it’s coping. I try to use the gears and keep the cadence up.

thanks - yes I have a 52T chainwheel on it and 11T smallest rear cog - currently gets up to an indicated 30mph (need to verify actual speed with GPS) I think the most the display says it's putting out is 1200 watts or just under

how warm is too warm? - mine feels slightly warm at the end of my typical ride but definitely not hot what difference do you notice between 20 and 24??
