So it broke down again (limited at 700W). Did 3km round trip with break in between, no issues. Charged it (not fully) before my next trip, 7km. Parked for 2.5 hours and when I started it up it would fail once 50W or so was pulled, so got a ride home. The strange thing is on measuring this...

When I touch the probes together it gives a reading of zero. When I touched the ends of the 5V charger it gave 5.02-5.04 so that would suggest the reading is .02 to .04 too high, I assume. Do you guys recommend riding at full speed or limited to 700W before the next reading?

I had rode the bike battery as low as I ever had the day before it first failed this time around (1 of 4 bars showing on the display). I fully charged it overnight, rode it a couple km, parked it, then when I got back on it, it failed. Maybe this suggests a capacity issue that I ran it down too...

Just thought of something extremely simple - there is a backlight attached to the battery that I can turn on with the flick of a switch. I'll turn it on now and it should slowly drain it. How long will I leave it until I check series?

Requires some wiring but not soldering? I found a few videos of doing it off a single cell, unsure if this would be the same. Would the series rebalancing probably do the trick to keep me ticking over for another month or so? I could try to do it myself this time if it will be a regular necessity.
