    Pannier Rack for Haibike HardSeven

I have this one. As long as you have some space on the seat post. Solid, no rattles not for carrying coal but perfect for all normal cycling kit. Mine has a quick release and is easy to put on take off, good as you don't always want panniers on the back. Bit of a fiddle mounting a red light...

I marked it as funny but it was a difficult choice between that and informative as it's certainly not useful. Perhaps, Fail?

Not many men can carry off a Cape but Leigh it suits you down to the ground.

A great tip is self amalgamating tape. I used it to protect the frame and handles, it only sticks to itself and provides a super soft grip surface. Have ordered bracket, mine is in black! Thanks

Me too, as I am only 7 miles from Wales. If you use the back lanes and have good local knowledge usually you can slip past the UK Boarder Agency/Heddlu De Cymru. We are fighting for freedom of movement, but I think it will all change soon.

Thanks for the photos to confirm the fitting. Yes it will fit mine as well and I can set it up like yours and it will make a good bracket.

I had a chuckle when you quote the British standard from France. Very few Basque Policemen around here. Not sure how long you have been in France but the Police just do not care, very much like dongles or cycling on the pavement, might be big news in Main land Europe but not here.

Wet morning again so thought I would do some measurement of my new toy. Below are the current, wattage and length of operation for each mode on the new light. All approximate and rounded up or down to be close to being right. The battery voltage is 8.1 but for ease I assumed it is 8 volts...

    The new best headlight

Went out and got wet for these. The edge ring lights are bright and in the riders view so I wrapped some black tape around the edge and all is good, in an emergency you could easily see to cycle home in the dark with just these, good running lights. Very bright main light on full, easily 40-50...

Really useful multi voltage package. If only they showed the bottom label in the ad it would have explained everything. Looks like we are both happy with our purchases.

Present arrived this morning! Ordered the 21st here on 27th!!!!! Had a little play and d8veh thank you very much for your advice. Did a little non scientific comparison with my Moon Meteor which is 200 lm on high power and a believable output level. On high power this one is visibly brighter...

Does Moon count as respected as it is expensive or nasty Chinese as that's where its made. The boast on a Moon is that it's designed in Hong Kong. I must say that this is the first time I have heard such a credit, I suppose similar to German engineering?

Ongoing reliability of Kalkhoff/Focus Impulse 2 motors

Absolutely untrue. If you buy a sheet of unbreakable glass and it breaks, gets replaced by the supplier then brakes again, etc etc. After the second or third fault you are totally within your rights to say this is not fit for purpose, so give me my money back and the associated costs that I...

    Ebike derestrictor

Clever boy, very well done, looks great as you have actually made it. This was a winter evening project for me as it seemed achievable. As my C is weak I am going to use a Picaxe which I know well and power it with 3.3 volts from a CR123. For the magnet did you wind one or use a solenoid as...
