After looking at the video a couple of times, I think the lower arm is bent in towards the wheel, so the chain is not in a straight line going through the mech. Can't see any adjustment ? Do you just bend it back a bit !?!? Or is now time for professional help. Have now got the top gear...

Thank you soundwave. It was not the washing, last weekend went riding in some difficult areas and pretty sure the mech took a hit or two along with me and everything else. Off out to meddle.

Totally agree. I was emboldened with scotch last night, there is as much chance of getting the bike in the house as the dog sleeping outside!

Going to fetch leaf blower... Now have reason for keeping the bike AND the battery in the house. It must now become a sewing/bike room, can't see the problem, sauce for the Goose and all that.

Or put some oil on it and go out for a ride ?
