There are wire bits. Its all out in the shed will look closer tomorrow. Will hold off building until I have the right disks as well. I will carry on with my 40 psi tyres for the moment!

Yes, I can go tubeless and there are bits of wire as well. The wheels are a double layer construction, the spokes do not enter the tyre chamber, I suppose to make TL easy. Ok will sort disks out as that is the best way for simplicity.

Trail star that's what I have. I paid extra for the SG. Fitting is also an experience, steel tyre levers and soap. But there is a huge difference between them and Rapid Robs, like a chasm really.

Hold on. If I want to be able to swap wheels easily shall I order two Tektro Auriga 180mm which are what is on there now ? My existing are QR and I have the QR here for the new wheels so that is not changing even though they are stronger and quieter. I want swap ability.

SW, you forgot to tell me to order two sets of brake disks !!! The wheels are set for axle so I have to pull the carriers out and replace them for the QR ones shown in your picture? Just pliers and pull ? Could not find a youtube video to show this bit being done. The axle and spline is...

Probably easiest to carry on until the next set wear down and see how long that takes. If it's a month:( if it's six months ;)

Welcome to why we are here. The main thing is you were out for two hours enjoying yourself. You would be well served by just replacing the front tyre to really help. In proper mud you are always going to slip and slide, better tyres just make you more sure footed.

Well I have bought two Skewers one back one front, as both wheels are qr at the moment. Once it all arrives I will let you know. :eek:

Glad it's so easy. I am hoping they are going to get pretty regular use. Just have to decide what to put on what.
