The Burisch has a separate controller, so you can use any type of downtube battery you want with any capacity you want and with any cells you want.
A factory made battery will always be cheaper than a re-celled one.
The type of bottle battery on the Burisch is not very waterproof. Modern...
After 5 years of use the bottle battery ( labelled Burisch Powercell 36v 9ah) has given up the ghost .. I have ordered a replacement from China but in the meantime I am bikeless . I had a look at re-celling but the companies I looked at dont work on the bottle types ..
can anyone recommend...
Hi all.
My bike, that Burisch GT250 i bought in 2012 seems to have come to the end of its useful life.
The other day i started hearing grinding noise in my bottom bracket, eventually it broke mid-journey.
All this occured a few weeks after researching 'bottom braket torque sensors' for a...
The Burisch AFAIK has a top speed of 22mph, I have heard of another controller for off road that apparently allows either 30mph or 30a draw not 100% which.
In either case it will most likely end to the demise of your battery sooner unless of course the battery is suitable to cope with the draw...

can anyone help?
Yesterday I forced my bike into the back of the car and in doing so it ripped all the wiring from around the headstock..sadly it's where the 2 sets of wiring are all different colours and I'm now stuck as to how to reconnect it ( there even seems to be a spare blue sure with no...
People here are probably familiar with the Burish Synergy bike.
It comes in at a similar price tag and seems to be in a similar class of bike.
Need help deciding whether to shoot for a 2nd hand Burisch or new Revolver
Thanks!
You can't say that it's best in class, because there's too many things to consider. I think it's a good value bike. The Burisch has a smaller battery and if you want to derestrict it, you have to change the controller, unless it's already done. Think about adding the cost of a new battery unless...
A front hub motor would even the load on the wheels a bit.
Your weight is no problem for a reasonable quality bicycle.
But a £1,000 ebike will inevitably have cheap components, so evening the stress on the wheels makes sense.
You probably need something with a BPM (or CST) motor for extra torque. Woosh Big Bear or a Kudos Tornado (slightly over budget), depending on which style you prefer.

...found it a little under geared and changed the rear for a smaller top gear and was still thinking of adding a larger crank gear....I have a Burisch Synergy which is very similar I don't commute but would be more than happy to use it as a commuter bike..it's similarly under geared, but will...
