I looked at the plug end and that was OK. The model is SSLC084V42X There is not obvious way of opening the box so I guess there are screws under the rubber feet.?

Yes sorry. its an e-Wayfarer with a 3 pin plug, but the center one is not used. The battery pack seems to be used in other applications so I assume the charger is fairly generic.

What stops my rear wheel drive motor at is maximum revs? Also what is the plate that looks a bit like a cooling fan without gaps?

Hello I am not sure if my charger is working. The green light comes but there is no voltage across the terminals. I have checked the joints in the plug which are sound. Sometimes if I wiggle it the reg light flashes on but only for a moment. How do I further test the charger? Regards...
