Being delivered to home ( Taunton) on Friday. Just wondering if I should upgrade the battery, or is standard...

    E bike dealer

Thanks for the offer, I most definitely won't be going back to nationwide bikes. Chap we spoke to was definitely not a tea boy. There is a dealer in Honiton who stocks the Whisper model I'm interested in, may drive down to see him.

    E bike dealer

Problem is they advertise these and many more on the website. Even if they don't have them in the shop , why say we don't do them.

    E bike dealer

Tirst bit of decent weather, so we got out to buy a couple of ebikes, against my judgment but to keep the peace we went to local Nationwide e bike shop, advert lists big range of bikes, not to many in shop though, enquired over Wisper and Juicy bikes, they didn't seem interested, answer was no...

    Front or rear hub motor

Looked at a few bikes today in Bicycle Chain store, she was quite taken with a fairly basic step through Raleigh, which had front hub motor, I did point out how basic it was and after much discussion with very helpful chap there getting in a Giant Easy+ from another store for her to try out.. It...

    Oxygen S Cross St.

Not ruling it out, hoping to get up to Bristol this week to look one over. I can now see the gears being handy on occasions, especially pedaling if battery flat. Never thought of that. Its so worthwhile asking advice on here.

    Oxygen S Cross St.

Woosh Rio doesn't compare to Oxygen. I'm looking at a step through only. Just not sure on 21 gears, seems a bit over the top, and confusion to maybe ride.

    Oxygen S Cross St.

Anyone have any views on a Oxygen S Cross ST. I like the look of it, and price. Tried a few bikes locally this week, other half has ordered a Freego Eagle step through, wasn't for me though. Nearest dealer for Oxygen bikes is in Bristol, not a place I would drive round, but fairly easy trip on...

    Cheap tv offer

Very interesting thread, being someone very much a newbie to e bikes, who has looked at much of late on here, i tended to get the impression cheap bikes in the £500 / 700 price range were just not worth it, although i do agree cheaper bike will get people interested. I also have found on...

    Whoosh Santana CD

We had decided after much deliberation to buy a couple of Eagle Martin or Eagle step through bikes. Then along comes interfearing know it all brother in law. He's been banging on to other half about Woosh, myself I won't buy online and have told him so. She's now looking at a Santana CD and it's...

    Kalkoff

My other half has been nagging me on the crossbar issue, it's been in the back of my mind, just I'm old school with ladies and gents bikes, it's definitely something i will consider.

I am convinced we should buy local, even if choice is a bit imited, its not to bad though. I've also put the cadence / torque to the back of my mind, as for style she wants a step through, i want a crossbar, standard style bike. Not interested in mountain or sporty types, although in our price...
