What batteries are you guys using?

If you folks are wondering how I'm going to mount the battery... Should be coming in the mail in a few days.

Connected the Battery Decided to config the kit without the throttle and brake inhibitors, fewer cables to manage. Also the throttle grip had this crap ignition key thingie built into it. Almost finished...

The ones I had cut were 13 gauge. I could make it work but I run the risk of pulling the spoke through the flange

Rim in hand but the spokes I purchased are one gauge size too small.

They didn't offer one in black and I like the silver hub. I keep reading "TETS" on this thread. Who or What is "TETS" and how can I get a set of those Torque Washers? I got the Easy Wheel Extender off eBay.

Dremeled about an inch off the axle and now it properly folds... Still waiting on Battery, and Rim & Spokes.

I did find two anit-rotation washer in all the packing and they fit perfectly.

Good point, unfortunately I have nothing to power it. I am still waiting on my battery.

Never mind, Torque Washers did come with the kit.

Forks Widened and Drops Dremeled Out. Waiting on Rim & Spokes So relieved that the hub freewheels in the desired direction. I may have to hacksaw one side of the axle. Can somebody give me a lead on a torque arm?

I noticed that too, but I think what they meant was 25kph. The only thing I'm concerned of is if the hub spins the right way, I wanna be able to fold as normal.

Just got tracking info on my kit, should be coming in this Friday. Rim probably next week. Battery is going to take a while.

Going to use the threaded rod method and use vice grips to bend the drops parallel. Which brings up another question, can I get by without bending the drops parallel to each other?

I can source the proper spokes, just waiting on delivery of the the rim and kit.

I've built my own wheels before. I've already sourced a rim, just waiting for the kit to arrive so can take measurements for the proper spoke length.

So my best option with this kit is to source an Brompton Rim and lace the hub myself. Thank You
