Thanks jerry, no it's not locked on the magnet just has a habit of slipping when I'm going uphill ( usually in bad weather ) I have a disability and pedalling isn't always an option :D I've got to a point where I just don't feel secure going far in case it happens and I can't twist it back into...

10ohm ? Is that the right term ? It weighs 4.4kg but gets around 40 miles, I have never run it down, but I started with the 5 battery which only weighs 2.2kg it was supposed to do 20 miles but I live in yorkshire and hills and wind made it a lot less

the magnet is intact but keeps slipping within the shrink wrap, the box has always got in the way, it comes un clipped from its secure place and gets in the way a bit

The magnet is located on the lever , held by a heavy sort of shrink wrap, the sensor goes to a little box ( that incidentally gets in the way during the fold) but I can't get it open :/

All that said you can carry the bag in one hand (with battery) and bike in the other evening the load

Hi there I have an m3l with conversion, and had to upgrade to the bigger battery ( I do live in yorkshire :) I can do long distances,but the definite downside is the very heavy front end, it is a big compromise Dawn :)
