    TSDz2 - Suggested chain

    Ok, great. I will set it up with a 10 speed. This is good as I can use a new Shimano derailleur (Zee) that has a clutch (which I already have).

    Hello Peter. Thanks for the reply. I'd like to use a 10 speed setup, as I have all the gear. But it looks like the standard chainwheel is for a 3/32 chain (8 speed). Can these be used with a 10 speed chain ? Cheers Mark

    Hello What chain is suggested for the TSDz2 mid-mount motor using the standard (or similar) replacement chainring ? Looks to me like a 3/32inch 7-8 Speed chain is the go. Would a (narrower) 10 speed chain work with the standard chainring and a Shimano 10 Speed cassette ? Cheers Mark

    Thanks for confirming the PCD is 110mm. I ride on a flat, sealed, bikeway. So am looking at fitting a 50T or a 52T chainring. Looking at a few rear end setups, probably a 8 or 10 speed Shimano cassette. Will a 10speed chain be able to handle the power of the TSDZ2 ? Or should I use an 8...
