    Hailong HL1 36v Batteries - on/off switch - yes or no?

I've lost count of the number of times misunderstandings occur when people type things and what they intended doesn't quite come over. Our species depended on face to face comms for at least a hundred thousand years and we can see how the joke or remark is going down and quickly correct with a...

    Hi Eleglide M2 with e08 massage .

OK - then I am wrong. Could be an issue related to connections on cables. Someone better will be along to advise soon. :)

    Argos £245 folding Bike Improvements

⁸ I think you may well be right that the Argos folder bike is likely made by fuli-ta. It has more than a passing resemblance to this one. Take a look at the mechanisms which secure the folding parts and the general geometry. It's the same bike but without the electrical parts...

    Hi Eleglide M2 with e08 massage .

What is the battery voltage when fresh off the charger - say five minutes after you disconnect the charger? You might have a cell group way out of balance. Your battery should charge up to almost 42 volts - 41.9v would be ok. 41.0 is suspect for a very low cell group. This would cause the...

    Battery woes Oxygen S Cross

If the cells are much out of balance, it can take quite a few balance charge attempt to get it back. If it were mine, i would go for a spin, and charge it again, leaving it on charge for a good few hours on the green light. Keep at it and bit by bit it will probably improve.

    Throttle wiring

I was wondering about it being an external speed sensor input, but I have no experience at all of these controllers. If it is a brake cut off lead, as AGS suggests saneagle can test that in a jiffy if he has pas running which he has. Upside down bike - turn cranks - motor running - short lead...

    Battery Fires

How will the second paragraph of the Rupert Bill impact people putting a battery storage system in their house. I bet old Rupert hasn't realised that there is a difference between Lifepo4 batteries which are the favoured storage energy system and the other types, but here we are - the words of...

    Battery Fires

I did have hopes of that being passed but suspect it will be now lost in the weeds of the change of government. We will see - I'm not hoping much. The Zeitgeist has changed. Now it's 'control', and if Rupert Bertram Mitford (Redesdale) God rot him, gets his way, the kit market will be...

    Battery Fires

If the laws we already have were enforced, there would not be a problem. Trading standards have the power to remove dangerous electrical items which have been imported. Enforcement is too sporadic. Many fires - a great many, are caused by over powered motors and controllers causing batteries...

    Battery Fires

Who is Lord Redesdale? Rupert Mitford. Oh - yes - He is a left over hereditary peer still there as a result of an unholy conniving scheme by lib dems and labour to keep some of these interfering, undeserved fkers in Parliament. Maybe the French had it right after all with their cutting off...

    Battery Fires

I'm not so sure that Arconic executives and workers are safe. We know they hid details of fire tests which would had they been known, have made it hard to sell their product. The email trail shows they were well aware of the risk and conspired to disguise it. I am not a lawyer, so I do not know...

    Battery Fires

It is true Peter and none of them will accept a word of it. It will be interesting to see what charges are brought and whether many of them can even be brought to court in this country. Lots of them are foreign - some French. Some Irish. Woosh will blame BREXIT. The merry go round continues to...

    Battery Fires

I actually think of all the venal, and useless politicians we have seen in a long time, Blair's messianic self belief, made him the most evil of all of them and probably the only one who really was an absolutely evil influence. When self belief and hubris come together as they did in him, and...

What? Why is this still standing? These tinder boxes should have been all knocked down hundreds of years ago if governments were up to the job. God knows what thatcher's must have to pay for product and third party liability..... Oh no - did I type the word thatcher? I knew she would be at...

    Battery Fires

The Americans have a vulgar term which covers this kind of event - cluster something - I forget... Point is it is utterly futile to keep blaming an old woman who has been out of office for thirty years and it is entirely stupid to keep headlining our least favourite politicians whoever they...
