    Clothing complaint

It is annoying @Saracen, especially when the only source is an online shop, with no possibility of trying anything on. I recently bought some Meindle Respond walking shoes, but everywhere was out of stock locally. So I tried on another model Meindle shoe in the size I thought would fit. It did...

Help! Best of conversion kits review

I don't hear much about Varstrom on the Pedelecs forum, so I thought I'd post my experience. I had been interested in converting one of my bikes, so I looked around and plumped for Varstron due to the basic reviews and low cost. I did realise they are a Hong Kong based company, but research...

    Hailong mount plate compatibility.

I heard about a mounting plate from Grin Technologies and found one on Amazon UK. It's called a Double Bob. This bike is a road tourer, so I'm still not sure I will need the extra Jubilee clips that come with the 'Bob'. https://ebikes.ca/product-info/grin-products/battery-anchors.html...

All good points guys, and taken onboard. I'm about halfway through the build now. The (250W) motor is on. The (48v 20Ah) battery plate is on, with a Grin Double Bob. The gear and speed sensors are installed. But I hit a (face palm) snag. I broke the derailleur!:( In my haste, threaded it...

Didn't mean to stir up a hornets nest on my first post! Really? Stomp on the new guy! To quote myself: "In the UK, so that's as high powered I can go (for now)." Just hoping the UK Ebike Consultation might allow a step up in the future. I'm not planning to become a Deliveroo twat or anything...

    Long time rider. Newbie pedalec.

Hi guys. 55yrs old and in the UK. Been riding literally since I can remember. One of my first memories is struggling across the lawn on a tiny bike (no stabilisers) and grabbing the washing line post at the other end. Went through road bikes for an age, until returning from a trip to NZ, and...
