    Display unit or controller fault?

A lot of displays are glued , one can use a hair dryer or similar and a thin blade to pry the top off.

    Display unit or controller fault?

An incidental tug on the display cable may cause a wire to become detached. A twist of the bars and a tight cable another scenario.

Kt 3 lcd meter setting help wanted.

All the KT's I have used have always given me PAS rotation with less then 1/4 movement and to be more exact nearer 1/8 rotation. One can also get 4mph via walk assist , depress the down button in one of the PAS levels. Use P4/1 & C4/3 setting. To have legal throttle use one will have to at least...

Kt 3 lcd meter setting help wanted.

For a speed control device aka a thumb or twist throttle then to be legal set P4/1 & C4/3 this allows legal throttle use under pedal first. This means no peddling no inexpedient speed device.

Kt 3 lcd meter setting help wanted.

P4 /1 provides current control , each PAS level giving a max level of current. Speed is max in each PAS level. P4/0 provides speed control so max current in all levels with varying max speed in each PAS level. With P4/1 one gets 13%/20%/33%/50% & 100% current via the five PAS levels.

    Display unit or controller fault?

Even if one found the same display , it will unlikely be compatible as the firmware/software/programming will be different. A broken wire also may be the fault, it isn't uncommon for one to break or become detached inside the display. If the controller failed then the hub wouldn't work. The Bt...

All carbon DJI Velduro Rogue to be Distributed in the UK by Sevenoaks Bikes. (Wisper)

Yes I believe so as he mentions the costly price of parts he has to replace, but the biggest cost is likely the damage he does to his body and will feel it a lot more in his older age. Though his weed might mask some of the aging pains.

    Battery Fires

As with most of these fires the actual charger or battery involved are the unknown factor . Charging of devices whether ebike battery or phone ,etc ,etc should be monitored and certainly not left to do it's own thing whilst asleep. Lucky for this lady and her boy that the fire didn't occur at...

    Pedelec Law - The Details

P4/1. C4/3. Then any speed control device is legal as it isn't simply twist and go, one has to pedal first to get power.

    Hello From Glasgow

With the higher internal geared drives like the AKM or TSDZ one has the option of excellent gearing to enable unpowered riding without noticing it much. Though TSDZ is sold under the Tongsheng brand name, the company is owned by AKM aka Akiema Suzhou motor company.

    Hello From Glasgow

The first option has the far better control system as it is a KT with current control and dual voltage , the downside it is listed as illegal 350w. Contacting the vendor as to the actual etching/marking on the hub to confirm, just a shame it doesn't say 250w in the listing. The second option is...

    Hello From Glasgow

Typically though a rear hub is fairly easy a lot of tadpole users do opt for a mid drive motor up front on the boom. If you are happy with a cadence set up then Bafang BBS or if wanting a Torque sensing system a tsdz2/ tsdz8 or Toseven DM02.
