    Help! Sudoo or soodoo

Without pics we have no idea of the controller used. Tbh with most of these bikes if able to buy a new controller from the seller it would most undoubtedly be cheaper to simply ditch the elcetronics and up grade (for a cheaper cost) to a KT brand system, the KT brand are the go to option as...

    Hi everyone.

Just goes to show Halfords have no knowledge, wasn't there another user recently who posted much the same. They were told their hub motor was the cause. I have used hubs for ten odd years and so not as long as you d8veh and have not yet had one fail me.

Wisper bikes don't have ball ends , if you look they have std type levers with the very end of the lever like most having a 15/20 degree angle or so as typical with 2 finger /3 finger brake levers.

Hydraulic disc brakes with ebike cutout

One reason to fit a KT to hub bikes , run on is zero effect with the fast acting PAS stop. I would though recommend one to be fitted if a speed switch device is used.

One has wasted £80 0n Brainpower set up , £80 which would have goty one a far superior KT controller and KT lcd.

Not sure if this is in the right section

For a three wire speed switch (aka throttle) one needs to connect the wires in the correct sequence so show us what you have. Typically a thumb speed switch is Red /Blk & White, Red & Blk will mate to the same colours on the controllers connector and the White to the Blue. White & Blue are...

    Help! Apollo phaze

Hub motors for hill climbing /inclines are much dependent on the motor winding /rpm of the hub. A faster wound hub is not as efficient as a slowe rwound hub. To be able to comment on your hub one woul dneed to know the rpm winding and the current /voltage used.

    Cadence magnet help please

OK worth a try with the tape some times. Let us know how the new disc works out as we like a successful conclusion to a simple issue.

    Cadence magnet help please

The magnet disc needs to be approx. 1mm gap to the sensor head so if your disc is warped then yes one will see operation issues. Often the magnet disc is held in place on the bottom bracket axle by small plastic splines incorporated in the disc. Check the disc is firm on the BB axle , that it...

£245 Argos Folder Improvements - complete story

Gear changing has changed a lot since my first drop bike in the 70's with gear changers on the down tube . Now we have nice all in one brake lever gear changes with with an inward side swipe of the brake lever to go up and an inward side swipe of the smaller inner paddle to go down the gears.

Dillenger kit, possible to upgrade controller?

Still have a BPM laced in to a front rim in the garage hanging up, certainly lives up to it's acronym of being a Big Powerful Motor. They are in the main sensorless.

Dillenger kit, possible to upgrade controller?

One assumes the exsisting controller uses solid state type electronics so a shunt mod is out of the question ( though is possible). Suggested scenario is to upgrade to a KT system for about £80, the KT programming allows a wider power range on PAS from 13% - 100% in five stages of power.

    Dragons Den - Rowing eBike....

A fad bike for seaside dwellers, have to say the girl was fit . Advertising seems to like to employ fit birds to sell stuff no matter how useless the product may seem.
